A DAY TO BE REMEMBERED FOR
dead are not those who forget-the living do
alive are not those who ask, eat and smash
living
and supposedly dead
pieces of light
yellow light, mellow night
carmine day
carmine way
blessed are those who come, bearing a simple thought
blessed are their fears, their joys
their tears, their ebbing ways
blessed are the dark ones, in the light of the fair
blessed are the fair ones, in the ways of the dark
dead or living
the sea will embrace us
the wind will remember
dead, we shall be overcome no more
living, we shall rest in peace
rest in the shadow
for
a while
look Lord Night and Lady Moon in the eyes, and become
knowledge
in order to become
knowledgeable.
Blessed be the dead, for in them was the promise of our lives!
